When you certify a Veteran or servicemember, you must be sure to enter all required information on the Enrollment Certification.

The student's biographical information and address must be current and correct because VA benefit checks are mailed to this address.

The student's VA file number will be the Social Security Number (SSN) in most cases. There will be some instances where a Veteran will have a VA file number that begins with the letter C.
